The James River has an incredible event happen each September. The return of Atlantic Sturgeon to the river. There are a few places you can see these huge fish breach (leap from the river), and none are better than from a boat. There are a couple of places from the shore, with Osborne Landing being the top spot, but what better way than to be out there with them!
Binoculars and water are provided, though you won't want the binoculars. Scanning the water with your own eyes is the best way to truly see one of these dinosaurs breach from the river.
